Dorothy IreneNISBETAged 79, passed peacefully after a brief illness in Ayr hospital on 27 February with her daughter Vicki Anderson by her side. Born in Ayr on 16 November 1944 to Robert and Sarah Annie Anderson, she is survived by brother Wylie Anderson, Vicki and her two children, and stepson Paul Nisbet. Ten months ago she was predeceased by husband James Nisbet after 25 years of marriage. Her first marriage to Vicki's father Ronald Angle was at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in 1963 where Dorothy remained a parishioner. She had a 22 year career at Grove Cranes in Pennsylvania, USA. She received successful cancer treatment at the Beatson, supported by Ayrshire Cancer Support and MacMillan Nurses, and was in remission 6 years. She is greatly missed.

Services were held on 21st March at Masonhill Crematorium. Interment will be in Ayr Cemetery on the 22nd April at 10am. The family kindly requests memorial messages be made on http://dorothy-nisbet.muchloved.com and donations in her memory to benefit the aforementioned organizations.

I am so sad that my best friend of 56 years has passed. Dot, I know you are in a better place, but I will always miss you and never forget you. Condolences to Vicki and Family. Love, Eileen
